A man spent the night in city lock-up following a disturbance at a bar in Conception Bay South.
Officers in the area were flagged down by people outside the bar around 1:40 a.m. Saturday morning. There was a brief altercation between police and the intoxicated man.
The 20-year-old is being charged with resisting arrest, assaulting a police officer and breach of court order.
He was held for court.
