Come Home Year has come and gone, and the provincial government believes the initiative was a success.
Premier Andrew Furey says Come Home Year went better than they had hoped.
He says it was an incredible tourism year. He says some tourism operators reported that they were 20 to 30 per cent above 2019 levels, so it not only met expectations but exceeded them.
