It’s going to be a wet day for many parts of the island but there’s still hope that conditions will be favourable for New Year’s Eve celebrations.
Savil Paul, a meteorologist with the Gander Weather Office says many areas will be seeing rain or wet snow with winds ranging from 40 – 70 km/h.
Though mother nature might turn things around this afternoon as clouds move in and winds drop down.
He says winds will be around 30 km/h for most of the province and the biggest concern would be the chance of a few showers or flurries later this evening.
