A taxi driver in the capital city has a simple message for pedestrians: make yourself seen.
Some in metro feel as though there has been an increase in the number of collisions between vehicles and pedestrians, with one driver saying he’s terrified he’s going to end up hitting someone.
The driver, who asked to remain anonymous, says there are too many people out walking wearing dark clothing and not obeying crosswalks and traffic signals. He says on dark and damp nights, people are almost impossible to see.
He says it’s much easier to see people when they were light-coloured clothing or some type of reflective gear.
