RCMP have charged a 50-year-old man with impaired driving following a crash in Terrenceville last Wednesday evening.
As VOCM News previously reported, police were called when a vehicle driving on the highway near Terrenceville, crossed over the centre line and sideswiped an oncoming SUV.
The driver of the suspect vehicle left the scene before police arrived, but officers located him a short time later and arrested him for impaired driving.
Breath samples collected were nearly twice the legal limit.
The man’s licence was suspended and the accused was released to appear in court at a later date.
