For the first time in a few years high school students are seeing the return of events like career fairs.
The pandemic forced the cancellation of numerous school activities over the last few years.
Holy Spirit High in CBS hosted its first career fair in two years over the last week. It was put off by the Holy Spirit High School Interact Club and the Avalon Northeast Rotary Club.
Rob Boychuk, Generations Chair for the Rotary Club, Avalon Northeast, says career fairs are best suited for an in-person environment.
He says the in person contact helps kids realize that there are other people out there with the same interests as them, and that they all took different paths to get them where they are.
