Six projects under the province’s Community Transportation Program have been chosen to receive funding of up to $100,000 dollars.
Fund have been approved for the towns of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, New-Wes-Valley, and Harbour Breton, as well as the St. George’s Indian Band Council, the Twillingate Lions Club, and the Bay St. George South Ride for Ages.
The funding is being provided for towns and groups to develop accessible community-based transportation programs.
