The union that represents faculty at Memorial University will take their strike vote tomorrow.
In an email to students, the Vice President Academic at MUN says the vote does not necessarily mean there will be a strike, but is the next step in the job action process.
They say the university remains committed to reaching a settlement and welcomes a return to the table, but are making preparations for the possibility of a strike.
All courses taught by non-MUNFA instructors, and those at the Marine Institute would still go ahead, however the plan for other courses is still being developed.
