Opposition MHA Tony Wakeham is set to make an announcement on his political future.
This comes a day after interim Progressive Conservative Leader David Brazil announced he would not be pursuing the party’s top job.
Last week while on VOCM Open Line, Wakeham revealed he was considering a run. The Stephenville-Port au Port MHA previously made a bid for the leadership against Ches Crosbie in 2018.
Wakeham will make his announcement at 5:45 p.m. at the Best Western in St. John’s. VOCM News will be there.
