A 29-year-old man has been arrested and charged following a disturbance on Quidi Vidi Road in the capital city’s east end yesterday morning.

RNC were called just before 11:00 yesterday following reports of a man causing damage to property and attempting to get into a home in the area.

The suspect was reported to have left the area in a grey Nissan Altima before police arrived on the scene.

Officers were able to locate and pulled over the vehicle in question. As a result a man has been arrested and charged with break and enter, property damage, and causing a disturbance. He was held in custody pending a court appearance.

Police say there were no injuries and the individuals involved were known to each other.
