Federal Defence Minister Anita Anand is vowing continued support to Ukraine “for as long as it takes” following a meeting yesterday with Ukrainian officials in Kyiv.
Anand met with Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov, announcing that that Canada will donate 200 Roshel Senator Armoured Personnel Carriers, valued at over $90 million to Ukraine.
The donation is part of more than $1 billion in military assistance committed to Ukraine by Canada since February of 2022 and more than $5 billion that Canada has committed to in combined military, financial, humanitarian and other aid.
