A company that claims it is at the center of the “Newfoundland gold rush” is reporting new gold discoveries in central Newfoundland.
New Found Gold, which is behind the Queensway project about 15 km west of Gander, says a targeted drill program exploring a segment of the Appleton Fault Zone has shown promising results, with “high-grade gold mineralization extending 1.5 km south” of the Keats Main Zone.
The company says it has already made several high-grade gold discoveries along the Appleton Fault Zone including Keats, Golden Joint and Lotto.
