RCMP on the west coast of Newfoundland are searching for a missing man from the Port au Port Peninsula.
41-year-old Troy Blais was last seen in the Blue Beach area on Wednesday.
Bay St. George RCMP say they received a missing persons report around 8:30 this morning and initiated a search with the Canadian Coast Guard, the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Halifax, Stephenville Ground Search and Rescue and other first responders.
This, after the man’s ATV was found over a cliff in Black Duck Brook, near Lourdes.
Blais is about five feet, eight inches tall and 150 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and a goatee.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts, or anyone who has seen him in the last few days is asked to contact the Bay St. George RCMP at 709-643-2118.
