A former municipal leader who was once one of the youngest mayors in the province has been chosen to lead the Community Sector Council to succeed Penny Rowe as CEO.
Rowe, who has served as CEO of the council for decades since it’s founding, is stepping down in early February.
Colin Corcoran, who served as the mayor of Riverhead, St. Mary’s Bay a decade ago, is excited to get started, calling the position his “dream job.”
He says he’s had a long journey in the world of volunteerism from an early age. He relishes the challenge presented in solving socio-economic issues through the community sector.
