A mental health advocate who says there is a high correlation between poverty and mental health believes addressing those issues must be one of the highest priorities of government.

Glenn Roil says that he is worried that the divide between the rich and the poor will only worsen as the country heads towards a potential recession.

He says that will only cause more stress, and that can already be seen in the prices at the grocery stores. Roil doesn’t think people should be paying a fortune for basic necessities at the peril of their mental health.
