Nominations are now open for the NL Folk Arts Society’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
The honour is awarded to people who have made significant contributions to folk arts in Newfoundland and Labrador.
NL Folk Festival Coordinator Mary Beth Waldram says nominations are not limited to folk musicians.
She says anyone who has spent their life contributing to the folk arts is eligible to receive the award.
Previous recipients include Gordon Quinton, Baxter Wareham, Anita Best and Ron Hynes.
The deadline for nominations is February 27.
