Some have wondered why Education Minister John Haggie hasn’t spoken on the strike at Memorial University.
He is taking some time off due to a medical issue. He has not disclosed the nature of it or given any indication of the duration.
Health Minister Tom Osbourne, who used to be education minister, is filling in for Haggie.
