Stack says he’s proud of what the district, schools, teachers, staff and students have accomplished, especially during the pandemic shutdown. He admits, it was a steep learning curve.
“I have no regrets,” and while he admits some mistakes were made, “you learn from mistakes.”
Stack says a lot was learned about remote learning and the possibilities and applications beyond what they were already doing with their distant learning program.
He says core French is now being provided virtually to clumps of schools where previously, it was difficult to staff a full-time French teaching position.
