The Inquiry into the Treatment, Experiences, and Outcomes of Innu in the Child Protection System will be holding hearings in Sheshatshiu beginning in just over a week.
They will focus on the history of the Innu and the impacts of colonization on them.
The hearings will be held at the Sheshatshiu Ussiniun Youth Centre February 13 to February 17, and again from the 21st to the 23rd.
The hearing schedule will be posted to the inquiry’s website in the coming days.
