Two significant announcements for the province’s oil and gas industry.

The C-NLOPB has issued what’s called a Significant Discovery Licence to Equinor, and has announced volume estimates for the Cappahayden K-67 discovery.

The C-NLOPB’s interpretation of well and seismic data associated with the Cappahayden discovery shows an estimated recoverable oil volume of 385 million barrels.
