A staple of the capital city’s downtown restaurant scene is closing its doors after 17 years.
“Get Stuffed” took to social media over the weekend to announce that they will be closing their doors at the end of the month.
They say the last three years have been challenging for them due to the pandemic, staff shortages, inflation, and the pedestrian mall—a now annual event that has received criticism from other business owners on Duckworth Street.
The restaurant thanks its patrons for sharing many life events at the establishment over the years, and likewise they thank the 603 staff that have been employed with them as well.
They say the decision to close was not an easy one, but ultimately “the future is a little less bright than it once was.”
