The First Voice Urban Indigenous Coalition is releasing its Action Plan this week.
The document outlines 42 calls for change based on the calls to action by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls, and the principles of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
The official launch is scheduled for Thursday morning at the First Light Centre for Performance and Creativity on Bannerman Street in St. John’s.
