RNC are investigating a serious incident in the centre city of St. John’s.
Police rushed to the scene on Mayor Avenue around 5:00 p.m.
No further details have been provided.
While there is not believed to be any risk to public safety, the public is asked to avoid the area for the time being as the investigation continues.
Anyone with information or CCTV footage from the Mayor Avenue area between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Tuesday evening is asked to contact RNC or Crime Stoppers.
