A man is dead after being hit by a school bus on Old Broad Cove Road in Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s.
The accident occurred on the stretch between Maggie’s Place and Prince George Drive at about 2 p.m. yesterday.
The westbound school bus struck the pedestrian, who was 69-years-old. The driver of the bus was not injured. There were no other occupants on the bus.
The RNC are seeking witnesses and video footage from the area around the time of the collision.
