RCMP have charged two Jamestown, Bonavista Bay residents with multiple firearms charges.

RCMP conducted a search of a home on Islandview Drive in Jamestown yesterday and seized a loaded sawed-off shotgun, ammunition, several machetes, and a number of items associated with the illicit drug trade, including pills and digital scales.

Thirty-eight-year-old Gary Moss and 28-year-old Selina Elson were arrested and held in custody pending a court appearance on charges of careless storage, unsafe storage, possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm knowing it’s unauthorized, and possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition.
