A couple have lost their home following a Valentine’s Day fire in Roddickton-Bide Arm.

There were no injuries, but the house was destroyed.

The fire broke out around 7:00 p.m. on the main road in Bide Arm.

The Canadian Red Cross provided the couple with emergency lodging, and help with purchases of essentials like food, clothing and other basics.
