Drivers on the Outer Ring Road were greeted with a not-so grand sight yesterday morning.

While the weather made the drive difficult, there was another baffling impediment along the roadway—an upright piano.

A caller to the VOCM Newsroom alerted drivers to the ivory obstacle in the eastbound lanes around 11:00 am.

The origins of the musical instrument are unknown, however it was moved to the shoulder after the lunch hour.
