The Department of Municipal Affairs has announced $400,000 dollars in total funding for new one-time Building Age-Friendly Community Grants.

The funding will help towns make the necessary upgrade to accommodate the needs of seniors and all residents as they get older.

Grants will be awarded on a 90 to 10 cost-share arrangement with municipalities for up to $20,000 dollars for municipal projects and $25,000 for regional projects.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, March 3.
