Drivers in Corner Brook can expect some slowdowns and diversions today.
A number of city streets will be closed today to accommodate events for the Corner Brook Winter Carnival.
West Street will be closed from noon until 5:00 p.m. to accommodate the Carnival Fest.
As well, traffic will be reduced to one lane on Park Street and lower Central Street from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. for the Carnival Fun Run. Todd Street and Chestnut Street will also be closed during that time.
