The province has a new chief information officer.
Blair White replaces Sean Dutton, who had been the acting chief information officer since mid-January.
Dutton remains the deputy minister of Digital Government and Service NL.
White was most recently the assistant deputy minister of Digital Health with the Department of Health and Community Services after several years with the Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Health Information.
His appointment is effective as of Monday.
The Office of the Chief Information Officer provides IT and information management services to government departments, agencies, boards and commissions.
