The trial has been set in connection with the shootings of two men in Conception Bay South last fall.
Thirty-two-year-old Matthew Fowler faces 19 charges including aggravated assault, robbery, fleeing police, a list of serious gun offences, and refusing the breathalyzer.
The shootings last September triggered emergency alerts and lockdowns in the metro region until Fowler was cornered and arrested after a car chase on St. Thomas’ Line.
The two men who were shot survived but continue to recover from their injuries.
Fowler appeared in Supreme Court clean-cut and sporting a shirt and tie for his formal arraignment this morning.
He entered not guilty pleas to all charges with trial set to begin with jury selection on January 29 of next year.
Fowler remains in custody pending a bail review next week.
