Hospitality NL has a new Chair.
Deborah Bourden, the owner and operator of the award-winning Anchor Inn in Twillingate, takes over from Brenda O’Reilly.
Bourden says there was a great sense of optimism among delegates to the Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador AGM in Gander this week.
“The industry is ready to get back at it,” says Bourden, and “we’re just scratching the surface” when it comes to growth potential, “but we have some big hurdles.”
The federal minister of tourism addressed the conference this morning, while MP and Rural Development Minister Gudie Hutchings is also in attendance.
