An agreement has been formed to merge Suncor’s fuel retail business, Petro-Canada with North Atlantic gas stations and retails stores throughout Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.
All 110 gas stations in the three provinces will now be operated by North Atlantic under a jointly-owned operating company known as North Sun Energy.
President David Button says they’re hoping to grow the two well known brands in Newfoundland and Labrador and customers can expect to continue to see the familiar Orange Store locations and could even see the return of Petro-Can stations in this province.
