RCMP in Grand Falls-Windsor are investigating an armed robbery in the town early yesterday morning.
Police were called around 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday after two masked men entered the Circle K on Union Street and approached the cashier. One of the men held a knife and demanded cash from the register, while the other kept watch at the front door.
The two left the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash and beer.
There were no injuries.
One of the men is described as between about 6 feet and 6 feet 2 inches tall and the other is described as between 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
