The Newfoundland Growlers is hosting Nevaeh’s Angel Foundation at the Mary Brown’s Centre later this month.
Fans can support the cause by buying tickets for the Sunday, March 12 afternoon game against the Reading Royals by using the promo code ‘lemonade’ or by using a special link to the event.
Five dollars from every ticket sold goes back to support Nevaeh’s Angel Foundation.
Nevaeh Denine lost her battle with cancer at the tender age of 9, but she raised more than a half a million dollars through Nevaeh’s Lemonade Stand and through the work of the foundation.
Nevaeh’s mom, Holly Denine says they’re thrilled to work with the Newfoundland Growlers and the Mary Brown’s Centre to continue to raise funds in her memory.
The foundation helps families of children fighting cancer.
Fans are also being encouraged to wear purple and yellow—the official colours of Nevaeh’s Angel Foundation—to the March 12th game.
