The newly elected president of SEA-NL is ready to tackle some of the many challenges facing enterprise owners.
Pamela Patten has been fishing for more than two decades and has been an enterprise owner for half that time.
She says key among those issues is a call for the lifting of the ban on the Atlantic mackerel fishery.
She says the ban does not make sense and she says the FFAW has made a good start in lobbying and petitioning the government to make the change.
