The RNC have laid a manslaughter charge against a 27-year-old man in connection with the death of a woman in February of 2022.

The RNC were called to a report of a disturbance a home on Hunt’s Lane in St. John’s on January 2 of 2022. A 55-year-old woman was found on the scene with a serious injury.

The woman was rushed to hospital where she succumbed to complications from the injury on the 24th of the following month.

A 27-year-old man, who was known to the deceased has now been charged with manslaughter in connection with the woman’s death. He’s been released to appear in court April 13.
