Some changes are coming to an historic and iconic brand long associated with Newfoundland.
The Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation is making some changes to Newfoundland Screech due to supply chain issues.
CEO Bruce Keating says they’re well aware of how important the iconic brand is to customers and they take that stewardship role very seriously.
Keating says a new supplier for Newfoundland Screech has already been secured, and they’re excited about some of the coming changes.
He calls it an opportunity to “breathe new life” into a product that’s been around for “a long, long time.” He does offer assurances to customers who are very loyal to the brand that they are going to be very careful about how they go about making the necessary changes.
The new product will be unveiled this summer.
