The AAA Female Hockey Provincials are being held this weekend at the Civic Centre in Corner Brook.
Tracey Hatcher, chair of female hockey in the province, is ecstatic that they were able to organize all three championships on the same weekend in the same venue.
She says the weekend will be a celebration of girls’ hockey with all provincial championships in one arena.
This is the first time that the provincial champion in the U-13 AAA team will earn the right to represent Hockey NL in the inaugural Atlantic championship being held in Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia starting April 30.
