The provincial government has announced the gas tax break will be extended for another year.
The extension, brought in last year, will now be in effect until March 31, 2024.
The break allows gas prices to be reduced by just over 8 cents per litre, while diesel prices are reduced by 7 cents a litre.
Government says the extended gas tax reduction Is just one measure taken to help residents cope with the rising cost of living.
