Memorial University students will be refunded money for time they missed during the faculty association strike earlier this year.
Some classes were interrupted for about two-and-a-half weeks after faculty walked out. They later reached a deal with the university.
Undergraduate students whose coursework was disrupted will receive a proportional payment based on each student’s course load and tuition rate. Further details will come out later.
The refund does not apply to the Marine Institute or students in the Faculty of Medicine whose course work continued through the strike.
Funds will be disbursed to students at the end of the semester.
MUN will be providing refunds to graduate students as well, with the details coming later.
Students will receive a 100 per cent refund for any undergraduate course dropped by April 10.
