A single round of ammunition found its way to St. Francis School in Harbour Grace Monday.
The ammunition was confiscated quickly by school officials according to the board, and the student’s guardians were informed accordingly.
A parent in the school community says the ammunition was brought in by a student in grade 5.
The board says that at no point were students or staff in any danger.
