For the first time since before the pandemic, Scouts Canada was able to host a “Beaveree” for some of its youngest members in the metro area.
Beaver Scouts, who are boys and girls between 5 and 7 years old, gathered at the Sunshine Rotary Park in St. John’s yesterday for what the organization described as “penguin-themed outdoor fun.”
They say the resumption of large-scale events like the Beaveree marks a return to some of the most exciting experiences they offer.
