A 34-year-old De Grau man has been arrested and charged after RCMP were notified by the FBI to potential child exploitation activity.
Bay St. George RCMP executed a search warrant on a home in De Grau in June of 2022 and seized a number of electronic items for analysis.
Troy Rouzes was arrested on March 20 and charged with making child pornography available.
Rouzes was released on conditions to appear in Stephenville provincial court on April 17.
RCMP are encouraging young people and their caregivers to learn about online threats and safety practices.
