Calibration work on the Labrador-Island Link continues today.
NL Hydro conducted testing on the line yesterday and will continue today. There is a possibility that testing on the system could trip the system, causing outages, but that didn’t happen yesterday.’
Hydro says it is prepared if outages do occur, and expects to have power restored within 30 minutes if it goes down.
Testing activities have concluded for the day. Calibration testing will resume tomorrow at 8:30am. We appreciate your patience as we move through this phase of testing.
