Applications are now open for the province’s Age-Friendly Communities Program.
The program aligns with recommendations from the Health Accord to promote age-friendly and inclusive communities in order to address social determinants of health.
$95,000 was earmarked for the program in the 2023 budget with up to $15,000 available to municipalities, Indigenous Governing Bodies, and non-for-profit organizations who apply.
