Additional charges have been laid against two St. John’s men in connection with an ongoing police investigation into allegations of sexual assault against young people.
Eighty-year-old Bruce Escott and 62-year-old Tony Humby were charged earlier this week in connection with alleged historic incidents of sexual assault against young people.
Escott was charged with sexual assault and sexual interference, while Humby was charged with two counts each of sexual assault, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching and indecent exposure, as well as making sexually explicit material available for a child, luring and sexual exploitation.
Both accused are now facing additional charges. Humby is facing an additional charge of sexual assault and two counts of sexual exploitation, while Escott is facing one more count each of sexual assault and sexual exploitation.
Police believe there is further information related to the ongoing investigation. They’re asking anyone with information to contact the RNC or Crime Stoppers.
