The RNC have made a fifth arrest in connection with the attack against a student at Prince of Wales Collegiate in St. John’s on March 9.
A 17-year-old boy is facing charges of attempted murder and assault with a weapon (both as a party to the offence), aggravated assault, and failure to comply with a youth sentence order.
The 16-year-old victim suffered serious head injuries as the result of the shocking lunch-hour attack on school property.
The other accused include three minors, ages 14,15, and 16, and an 18-year-old man.
