RCMP Major Crimes in Harbour Grace say they’ve received an increase in information from the public regarding the murder of Adam Mercer.
Police shared new developments in the case during a news conference on Wednesday, and made a plea to the public for witnesses to come forward.
Mercer’s remains were found in a burned out vehicle on Tuesday, April 11. No arrests have been made, but police believe the murder was carried out by more than one person.
RCMP are still looking to identify an individual who was with Mercer on April 9 at around 10:15 a.m. at the Irving gas station in Harbour Grace.
