A special fundraising event is being organized to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada and Leanne Kean, a music teacher and performer recently diagnosed with cancer.
In Canada, a blood cancer diagnosis occurs every 24 minutes, affecting people of all ages without any warning.
Musician and friend Justin Fancy says Kean’s diagnosis has put her career on hold due to the aggressive nature of the cancer, which required her to start chemotherapy almost immediately.

The fundraiser aims to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada, with 50 per cent of the proceeds going to Kean in support of her journey.
Fancy says the event promises a night of music and community, with surprise special guests and a chance to contribute to a great cause.
